Carson, WA – Today, Hannah Joy announced her candidacy for State Rep for position one in Washington’s 17th Legislative District.
Hannah Joy made the following statement:
As a small business owner and mother of six, I have strived to make my community a better place by putting people first. From owning a newspaper and hardware store in Skamania County, to serving as the committeewoman of the Skamania County Republican Party, I have fought for individual liberty, property rights, school choice, and firmly opposed all mask mandates in the state of Washington.
Washington is at a crossroads. We need strong leadership that will stand up against the mandates from Governor Inslee. We need to overhaul our education system and promote school choice, not the indoctrination we see coming down from Olympia. It is the duty of the legislature to pass laws that improve the lives of Washingtonians. Instead, we continuously watch as the legislature stands by as a rubber stamp for an out of touch executive.
As your representative, I will represent eastern Clark County and Skamania County. I look forward to campaigning vigorously throughout the district to hear your concerns and to fight for you in Olympia.
