Hannah Joy for House of Representatives

FIX WHAT‘S BROKEN NOW

Hannah Joy joined with other Common Sense advocates for an initiative project to Fix What’s Broken in WA. Three went on to pass into law earlier this year.

  • I-2111, No income tax in WA
  • I-2081, The WA Parent’s Bill of Rights.
  • I-2113, Restored Reasonable Police Pursuit of Criminals. The single most critical reform to fight crime.

REDUCE THE COST OF LIVING
Lower taxes, Repeal the cap-and-trade tax scheme and allow you to opt-out of the payroll tax for the insolvent “long-term care” benefit ruse.

BUILD OUR ECONOMY SAFELY
Encourage industries to come to WA and grow small businesses through regulatory reform. Restore law enforcement’s ability to chase criminal suspects and prosecute those found guilty. Allowing businesses to focus on customer service and not have to put locks on products.

SOLVE HOMELESSNESS
Create effective mental health care and provide first time drug offenders the proper care and treatment to prevent the decline into homelessness and addiction.

EDUCATION FIRST SCHOOLS
Families deserve to know that our schools prioritize basic education, support teachers, and hold themselves accountable for unacceptable achievement scores.

About The House of Representatives

We have lost the checks and balances that have been placed on the executive, judicial, and legislative bodies of government. Getting control of the purse strings in the house to curb fiscal irresponsibility is imperative to the future of Washington State.
